WHAT TO EXPECT
The Wedding
Ample car parking for guests is provided in the field immediately adjacent to the marquee site and is a convenient short walk to the marquee. Salcombe Farm is actually located in Salcombe and is 20 minutes walk from the town. The views from the marquee site are fantastic and far reaching. The hills around Salcombe Harbour and the churches of East Portlemouth and Chivelstone are within view.
After a wonderful day the newlyweds can escape to the magical treehouse which is a short walk away from the marquee site but far enough away to be very private. The site is available for 5 days from Thursday to Monday inclusive. The Treehouse for 3 nights is included (Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights) as part of the package. The package price is £5,500 inc vat for dates in May through to September 2025.
THE WEDDING
The Registrar
The price doesn’t include the Registrar’s fees which you have to pay on top directly to the Registrars.
You’ll need to book the Registrar for your wedding ceremony, we can’t do that for you. You can reserve a date over the phone or online with the local Registrar, the fee is currently around £50 which guarantees your date. The couple also need to go along to their local Registrars office in person together to provide proof of residence and ID. That can be done at any time in the 11 months before your wedding date and MUST be done at least 28 days before your wedding date.
Don’t ring the Registrar to book your date til you’ve checked with us that we’ve got the date available.
